Building with modern tools

Notes on using Figma, Cursor, Claude, Codex, Notion, and Perplexity without becoming lazy.

Modern tools can speed up production. They can also make you sloppy if you stop thinking.

My rule is simple: tools assist judgment, they do not replace it. Figma helps me think visually. Notion keeps projects structured. Claude helps me plan and reason. Perplexity helps me research. Cursor and Codex help me turn designs into working code.

The goal is not to use more tools. The goal is to move from idea to useful output with clarity and taste.

When a tool makes me faster and sharper, it stays in the system. When it makes me passive, I remove it.
