Designing to understand the world
How design helps me think, test, and make sense of ideas.
Design is not decoration for me. It is a way to think.
When an idea feels vague, I start by shaping it visually. A rough flow, a simple screen, a list of states. The act of designing forces clarity. What is the problem? Who is this for? What should feel obvious?
I use design to test assumptions before committing to code. A quick interface sketch can reveal gaps that paragraphs of writing hide. It helps me see what matters and what can wait.
This approach keeps my work grounded. I design to understand the world, not to perform taste.
